Don’t waste anymore time.

Intensive format

  • Flexible blocks of 3-hour therapy time.

  • Schedule it over 1, 2 or 3 days.

  • Work through 3 to 9 hours of therapy in ONE week with EMDR or ART intensives (instead of the traditional one hour weekly for 3-6 months)

STRESS, ANXIETY, TRAUMA

A trauma therapy intensive can provide the breakthrough you need to finally move forward. This intensive program combines the evidence-based EMDR or ART therapy approach with a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

During the intensive, we’ll work together to identify and process negative emotions and traumatic experiences. Through the use of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), you'll learn how to reframe your thoughts and responses to triggers, leading to a more positive and resilient mindset.

An EMDR therapy intensive is ideal for those who are seeking a more focused and accelerated approach to healing. Rather than traditional therapy sessions spread out over several weeks or months, an intensive program provides concentrated and transformative treatment in a condensed period of time.

Don't let trauma or anxiety hold you back any longer. Reach out today!

Intensive Therapy can help you feel better faster.

Intensive therapy is a way of accelerating the healing that would typically take place at a slower rate within the traditional weekly therapy format. Its a powerful time intensive tool to jumpstart the healing process; instead of going to therapy weekly, you set aside a chunk of time ( 1/2 a day, 1 or 2 days) to accelerate your therapy work. Intensives help you to deep dive into your healing journey and make significant strides in a shorter period of time.

Program Structure:

  • Initial Consultation (15 minutes): A phone call with me to determine fit and readiness for intensive EMDR treatment.

  • Deposit and Schedule: Clinician will determine an estimated time of treatment from three or more hours per week to several consecutive days depending on client preference, severity of symptoms, and concerns to be addressed. A 50% deposit is due to confirm scheduled session with remainder due on day of intensive. Client will be provided paperwork and structured assessments to complete prior to scheduled Intensive.

  • Customized Treatment Plan and Intensive Session: Consists of case conceptualization and target planning to identify negative beliefs and associated body sensations, emotions, or images which seem to be causing the distress. Targets will be processed according to client’s goals and concerns and level of disturbance of symptoms.

  • I do not accept insurance. You can file for out of network benefits and they may cover a portion, but this entirely depends on your insurance company. I do accept payments from HSA’s or FSA’s, which can help cover the cost.

  • Payment options are available. ½ payment is due day of booking, and the remainder is due day of service.

  • Perhaps you’re needing help — and a lot of it—right now, and you don’t want to spend months in the traditional weekly model of therapy to feel better. You may be someone who prefers to work intensively, Or perhaps you’re working with a therapist and you’re needing to do a specific piece of trauma processing work before returning to your regular sessions.

This type of therapy would not be suitable for those who experience a high level of dissociation and require more stabilization. This type of therapy would not be best suited for someone who is suicidal or experiencing psychosis. Regular sessions over a longer period of time would be safer and appropriate.

  • -it can help you get better faster with lasting results

-symptoms can be reduced more quickly

-while upfront costs may be higher, treatment can be shorter in the long run and can save both time and money, with less time away from work.

  • A 60 minute follow up session is included in the package to support your needs. Some clients complete intensives and go back to their regular routine, moving forward feeling better; some need additional support afterwards and benefit from a continued therapeutic relationship.
